Bio
Having always been dedicated to designing and making, I’ve earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Art degree in Printmaking from UMASS Amherst and a Master’s of Fine Art degree in printmaking and sculpture from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. I began making jewelry in 2003 and now live in Los Angeles.
A little about my work…
My aesthetic sway comes from mid-century design, craft and architecture. I appreciate both the simplicity and the functionality of this design philosophy.
Designing my jewelry is like engineering tiny structures, and engages me in a type of problem solving I love to do. Preferring to stay experimental, I change my mind freely and let things go in any direction. Functioning as an “inventor” allows for the joy of ending up with unexpected, unique results.
